We fansubbers don't have any scripts we only rely on what we hear and on occasional telops (aka the colored impact captions you usually see on j-comedy, which only appear occasionally). When it comes to official subs / translations, the translator is provided a script for the product he's working on.I work really hard in order to avoid them, and it can be challenging sometimes. First of all, english is not my native language (I'm italian), and I know I can make typos and silly mistakes.What makes it hard to translate J-comedy & Gaki no Tsukai (to me, at least)? Here are the reasons:
Translating Gaki no Tsukai is not an easy task, but it's surely worth it. I've been translating full-lenght Gaki Episodes, Lincoln segments, Gottsu Ee Kanji kontos, manzai skits and other j-comedy related stuff since 2014, and I've even worked on few No Laughing Batsu Games along with Team Gaki. Just wanted to tell you that your favourite Japanese tv show "Gaki no tsukai (ガキの使い)" has a huge fanbase outside of Japan and there are a few subbing groups including mine that translate gaki episodes into English for your enjoyment.
